The what and how

 Our company comes from a place of love for this industry and the innovation of this idea to bring a reliable resource that every stylist should be able to have access to. As much as our industry has evolved, there is still a missing piece revolving around maternity, medical, and mental health leaves and the current lack of tools and strategies to take a stress free leave...until now that is.

The traveling hairstylist is where we come to you on a temporary contractual basis to provide temporary relief to stylists who are faced with a planned or even unplanned leave and now need help or to "fill-in" for the stylist who is going on a maternity leave and needs someone they trust to take over their clientele for a couple months so they can still have a full business to return too. Another creative way our services have been used is for high tourism areas who see a spike in temporary clients and temporary help is needed, or even for extended bereavement time that is needed without having the worry of rescheduling weeks of clients.

No matter what the reason may be, our mission here is to provide ultimate peace of mind, income to salons/stylists, and security of your business and clients.

Discuss Roles

First we decide if we would be a great fit for your business and clientele, and in what role you are seeking? We like to know what sort of leave you are requesting our services for and how immediate this is needed. We discuss your clientele and the services that would be expected to be covered in addition to what structure you work as(commission, renter, suite) to ensure all communications are made for a smooth transition.

Determine Schedule

Then we will determine what length of time is best suited for this role and what schedule is best suited within this role. Along with this we can also establish the space being used as we will supply all of our own tools (irons, shears, bowls, brushes, etc.) unless you have preferred items you choose to supply. We can also discuss options in restocking your product supply.

Establish Price

Lastly we will establish which price model best fits your needs. We mostly work with a sub-lease model that ensures your rent being paid by us and very little prep for you. Another model we have done for some is a daily rate price that is determined by your location, specialty, and average service rate. This model involves a slight bit more prep but is a great option if you work in a commission salon or in a set-up that does not allow for sub-leasing.
